How to care for your Intelsius ORCA rental products
ORCA temperature-controlled packaging solutions are now available to rent, simplifying your cold chain logistics, saving you time and money and reducing your carbon footprint.
ORCA Handling Best Practices- Decrease refurbishment costs
- Do not use water or detergent on VIP panels, as this can lead to distortion. Wipe down with an alcohol-free hard surface disinfectant.
- Do not leave in direct sunlight, hot vehicles or other similar extreme environments for an extended period. This will degrade the box and distort the print on the outside.
- Packaging should be transported up-right, arrows are printed on the side of the outer box.
- The use of an outer shipper prevents unwanted damage to the outer Correx.
- Use handles provided to lift and move the system.
- ORCA systems contain fragile components. Do not drop, crush, throw, stack heavy objects upon ORCA or otherwise mistreat the packages in any way.
- Ensure that any PCM panels removed, to load or unload payload, are replaced. Please double count before returning.
- Do not tamper with or attempt to open ORCA PCM Panels, VIP Panels or PCM Cassettes.
If you suspect that the packaging has been damaged at any stage during transit or upon opening, contact Intelsius immediately.
Following these best practices will help ensure consistency, quality, and long-term success reducing the refurbishment costs and time. By applying the recommended guidelines, teams can reduce errors, improve efficiency, and deliver more reliable outcomes.
